Well..this photos were for H&M and I was lucky to be one of the four Portuguese selected for the H&M Street page on their new website :)))

Today I'll talk about Brigitte Bardot, a leading beauty icon of 20th century.

Yesterday, my mum was doing a selection of items for some window shopping, when she had stumbled upon a Lancel Handbag, called B.B. :)

I was fascinated, especially because I'm quite a fan of Brigitte. Every single detail of the handbag tells a story. The handle represents the headbands that Brigitte used to wear in her hair; The strap represent the strap of her guitar; The band in the middle of the bag represent her tiny waist and the belt that she used to wear; The fringes on the sides of the bag represent her beautiful wild hair; The "B.B" pendants are the initials of her name; The liner has her favourite print: pink Vichy, and also has the names of her favourite cities and her most famous quotes. :)))

I'm not in love with the design of the handbag, but I would love to have it just because of the story :))

Hoje vou falar acerca da Brigitte Bardot, um dos maiores ícones de beleza do século XX. :)

Ontem a minha mãe estava a fazer uma selecção de artigos para umas montras, quando dá de caras com uma carteira da Lancel, cuja história é bastante interessante :))

Eu fiquei fascinada, principalmente porque sou uma fã assumida da B.B. :)

Cada detalhe da carteira conta uma história. A pega representa as bandoletes que a Brigitte usava; A alça representa a alça da sua guitarra; A faixa a meio da carteira representa a sua cintura e o cinto largo que ela usava; As franjas nos lados da carteira representam os seus maravilhosos cabelos selvagens; Os pendentes "B.B.", as suas iniciais. No forro utilizaram o seu print favorito: Vichy cor-de-rosa, e acrescentaram também os nomes das suas cidades preferidas e as suas frases mais célebres :))

Não amo o design, mas só pela história, confesso que adorava ter uma Lancel B.B. Handbag ;)

Felizmente tenho o melhor namorado do mundo! Ele emprestou-me a máquina dele, até eu comprar uma nova :D (Obrigada Amor!!)
